progress which is based on the LEAP and iLEAP standardized
tests. The Chitimacha Tribal School utilizes the same formula
that is required by the state of Louisiana Department of
Education to compute the adequate yearly progress. The
Chitimacha Tribal School has met the criteria for achieving the
Adequate Yearly Progress status for the past six years. For the
past two years the Chitimacha Tribal School’s School Performance
Score has been above one hundred.
